This week was good! Found my new best friend Michael. We were walking down the street and a guy biked past us. I said oh wait hey you come back here and he came back. Crazy thing was, we made eye contact and I swear i had met this man before. Like there was some spiritual connection of some kind. We introduced ourselves and exchanged numbers. Later that week the number responds. It's his mom lol. She says who are you we say messangers of God and she's like ya perfect my son needs that here's his address he lives in a basement. So we go over and he's on his bike again and we give him a Book of Mormon and he's about it. About an hour ago (wrote this sunday night lol) we just taught him the rest of the restoration. Buenos dias, espero que se encuentren bien I think I just need to accept ill never have a normal week up here, this one was absolutely filled to the seams with things to do and miracles to see. Had an exchange with my District Leader Elder Parish. He's a dawg fr fr. The district is kinda struggling rn so I had the mighty opportunity to uplift and strengthen him a lil bit. We set a goal of talking to 30 ppl and we got to like 45 which was sweet. Once again I love seeing what missionaries do when they're talking to someone on the street and I literally run away from them to talk to someone else haha. Knocking on car windows is my favorite tambien. We must've gotten like 20 numbers and a couple seemed pretty down so idk we'll see! Then we had our exchange with the assistants which was fine tbh. Dang well I think I say it every week but this ones gotta take the cake. Craziest week of my mission so far. At the start of this week we had 2 on date in the whole zone and they were both with us haha which was unbelievably frustrating. So I fasted for the zone on sunday and whaddaya know, by the end of the week we had 5. Crazy considering one of them was in a  town called High Level (population 2,000 and 1,000 of them are drunk). So big ol miracle there. Then 2 things happened. #1 big ol wildfire started close to us. Everyone was on edge and there was a day where our visibility and air quality were worse than China. Holy smoke, this was one of the crazier weeks of my mission.  So to start off we put our friend Charolette on date! hooray! She's been cooking for a while now but June 1st here we come! Prayers up that she can make it! Then I got to do exchanges with my DL Elder Welch, and my elda is a dawg. We spent the day in probably the most beautiful place in our mission: peace river, it's just absolutely gorgeous. He's been going through a bit of a rough patch with the missionary work there, and his companion as well as his district haha so I tried to uplift him and get him going. I really tried to be like Ricarrdi haha (elder welch was kinda weirded out in the beginning) , we were quite literally running around town talking to everyone in sight. We must have talked to 40 or 50 people that day! Found a super sick man named Dean from Jamaica, they're gonna go talk to him later.
