Semana 48: The Light Of Christ (In All Of Its Forms)

Dang well I think I say it every week but this ones gotta take the cake. Craziest week of my mission so far.

So to start the zones been struggling putting people on date. At the start of this week we had 2 on date in the whole zone and they were both with us haha which was unbelievably frustrating. So I fasted for the zone on sunday and whaddaya know, by the end of the week we had 5. Crazy considering one of them was in a  town called High Level (population 2,000 and 1,000 of them are drunk). So big ol miracle there.

Then 2 things happened. #1 big ol wildfire started close to us. Everyone was on edge and there was a day where our visibility and air quality were worse than China. You could see the glow of the fires from town.
#2 We received the light show of our lives. I've heard the northern lights are cool but holy smoke, friday night was wild. I was in bed and I looked out the window and there was a literal lightshow going on outside. Pics below, all were taken with my camera btw

Then our boy Armstrong we found last week and put on date, came to church! The members took him in and made him feel right at home. He's got a couple good friends in the ward and is looking solid for June 8th

So ya some crazy miracles. There were some moments this week where I just felt incredibly discouraged for no reason! Then something crazy would happen, like going door knocking for 45 min (btw normally the absolute least effective thing to do up in canada) and getting 6 return appointments from people. Like whaaaaat? Anyways, I know for sure that this is the work of God. It couldn't be any other way.

Favorite quote of the week gotta be
"My dear brothers and sisters, I promise that as you prayerfully study the Book of Mormon every day, you will make better decisions—every day."
-President Russel M. Nelson

Wanna make better choices? Well you better go read the book.
