Week 80: God Opens Doors

hey everyone! P day got moved cause we went to the temple today, so thats why this email is late.

God's been working in our area lately. Our friend Vivian was just baptized this last saturday. She was a media referral from Toronto missionaries. She kept every commitment that we gave her and was so excited to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost on sunday! I've loved working with her and seeing her spiritual growth.

As I've served my mission, I've often noticed that I can get stuck in a rut, especially when thinking about different ways to find people to teach. So recently, me and Elder Pallo have been trying to get more creative! Since it's cold outside, I thought it'd be a good to get inside of apartment buildings and knock every door. the only problem is that here in edmonton, about every apartment building has locked doors. So we decided to pray outside of every building we plan to knock. I kid you not, some way or another, every single building we've tried to enter has had it's doors opened in some way or another! It's been strange because when we try to enter apartments without praying, it never works. But the second we pray, the doors open in some way or another.

This leads into my spiritual thought! We have a lot of locked doors in our lives. If we don't pray with real intent and ask God for help, he won't open doors in our lives! But he will when we do.

Love you all! Have a great week!

Elder Curtis
