Semana 51: All To The Glory Of GOD

I'm starting with the least important thing: the Oilers are going to the Stanley cup waahoooo! Hockey is the best lol

Honestly just such a good week. Got blessed by the Lord this sunday. Had 8 investigators come to church which was most I've ever had up here in Grand Praire. Then what was so dope was a whole bunch of inactive members we've been working with came too! We had the highest number of people ever in the ward to come to sacrament, a big ol 134. I about cried it was so amazing to see. I've been praying really really hard to have people come and I felt the hand of the Lord in the work in a big way.

BTW me and my comp posted an invite to church video on all the grande prairie Facebook pages and ppl started an internet troll war in the comments section haha. But 2,700 people viewed it soooo idk. We've also started to get recognized around town which is a weird feeling haha, "hey are you the guys on my Facebook feed?" So funny

My favorite inactive family is the Cuartas family. They're from Columbia (yall ready know literally the 2nd best country in the world, after USA of course) and they've got my heart. The way I got them to come is I told them about a family that we are teaching here that doesn't know any English and would they come and help them find friends? She dijo claro que si and they came!!!! Wow the members were so nice too! One of them told me they hadn't attended in years which was crazy to me. The power of EspaƱol, I'm asking if next week we can have a Spanish group for 2nd hour which would be another blessing (little does the bishop and stake president know that we're gonna be opening up a Spanish branch here soon)

We taught 2nd hour too. Was in a class with people from the Philippines, Russia, Cameroon, el Salvador, and of course us from the USA. Made me think of how powerful the love of Jesus Christ truly is. He can unite us in a way nothing else can!

This whole email is a spiritual thought lol but I had an absolutely insane experience sunday. I've been focusing on the spirit a lot more. It's been a weak area for me so I'm tryna do better. We were driving down the road and I see someone on the porch. I drive past. 30 seconds later I get the most quiet, imperceptible, prompting from the Holy Ghost.
"Go back and talk to him"
I start justifying and thinking "well gee I'm late for dinner I drive by people all the time I'm not gonna do that" but I remember what I commited to do (listen to spirit more) so I groan internally and flip around.  My companion is confused, but he's like ok fine elder. Run up to this guy... well before I start talking to him I hear spanish. His name is Mario he's from el Salvador and he met with missionaries before. We set up an appointment for next Saturday.

Walking (running cause we are late lol) away from that house was the best feeling in the world. I dont know if there's a better feeling than following a prompting from the Lord. Follow the Spirit!
